In late 2023, Antimateria Films reached a definitive creative threshold. Selected from over 4,000 global submissions across 75 countries, our founder and director, Mike Bautista, was one of only 14 filmmakers handpicked by Ed Sheeran and Warner Music to visualize the introspective world of Autumn Variations. Representing Mexico in this global dialogue, we were tasked with translating "The Day I Was Born" into a visual sanctuary for seekers of the human experience.

Collaborative Genesis: A Vision in Motion

Entrusted with total creative freedom by Warner Music Mexico, the production became a masterclass in "intention before technique." We moved away from standard music video tropes to find the "fragments of truth" hidden within the song’s themes of self-discovery and reflection. By assembling a team of dedicated collaborators, we treated the project not as a service, but as a cinematic commitment to storytelling that connects on a profoundly felt, human level.

Directing for an artist of Ed Sheeran’s caliber was a transformative milestone that reaffirmed our core mission: we do not exist to produce more; we exist to produce better. The project allowed us to explore new creative horizons, ensuring that every image revealed something invisible yet true.
